Work like the best tech alive.
Coldr puts guided diagnostics, field-grade calculators, instant fault-code lookup, live Bluetooth instrument readings, step-by-step install guides and an HVAC-trained AI assistant in one app — so you fix it on-site, the first trip, and never lose a job. Whether it’s your first service call or your ten-thousandth, it has your back.
No credit card. Built for the people who speak Fieldpiece, NAVAC, superheat & subcool.
The toolkit
Everything the job needs, in one app
The depth of a manufacturer's tech-support line, the speed of a calculator, and an AI that actually knows the equipment.
Guided diagnostics
Step-by-step decision trees for no-cooling, weak compressor, no-heat and more — each branching on the readings you take, ending in a specific call.
AI that knows HVAC
An assistant grounded in brand-specific fault codes and manufacturer service notes — so you diagnose on-site instead of waiting on tech support.
Field-grade calculators
Superheat, subcool, target charge, PT charts, psychrometrics, Manual J, duct sizing, MCA/MOCP, capacitor — validated, with the methodology shown.
Live instrument readings
Pair Bluetooth gauges and probes; readings flow straight into the diagnosis. Manual entry is always there as a fallback.
Equipment-specific answers
Capture model + serial and the app targets that unit's superheat, subcool, refrigerant and factory charge — not generic ranges.
Works in the field
Every calculator runs offline in the mechanical room. Jobs sync up when you're back on signal.
Install guides & procedures
58 step-by-step install, service & repair procedures with check-off lists — so the install goes by the book every time.
Fault-code search
Look up OEM fault & flash codes across 26 brands — online or offline — and jump straight to the likely cause.
Never lose a job
Resume any job mid-diagnosis; chat, calcs & notes sync across phone and web so you pick up right where you left off.
Tech notes
An offline-first scratchpad on every job, synced to the web console — readings, observations and follow-ups never get lost.
Knowledge library
Brand- and model-specific service data behind the AI's answers — curated, cited equipment intelligence, not guesswork.
Photo-to-AI
Snap a nameplate or wiring photo and ask — the assistant reads it and answers in the context of that exact unit.
How it works
From unknown unit to a finished job
Identify the equipment, measure it live, diagnose or look it up, ask the AI, and pick the job back up later — the whole day's work in one app.
Identify the unit
Scan or enter model & serial. Coldr decodes it and loads that equipment's targets, refrigerant and factory charge.
Measure live
Pair Bluetooth gauges & probes (or enter manually); readings flow in and field-grade calculators — superheat, subcool, target charge — run inline.
Diagnose or look it up
Run a guided diagnostic flow, search OEM fault & flash codes across 26 brands, or open an install/service guide — online or fully offline.
Ask the AI
Hand the full job context to the HVAC-trained assistant for a specific call and the next step.
Document & pick back up
Save notes, finish later, and resume any job across phone and web — nothing's lost.
No two calls are the same — jump straight to a calculator, a fault code, a guide, or the AI whenever you need it.
For businesses
Run the shop from the desktop — your techs in the field, you in command
Set up your crew with roles and permissions, give each tech a credit limit from a shared pool, and let PMs and supervisors review and sign off on jobs as they sync. It’s the same engine as the app — with a command center on top.
And it’s modular: turn on only the pieces you want, add more for your team later. No one’s forced into a workflow they don’t use.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Do I need special hardware?+
No. Every tool works with manual entry. If you have Bluetooth gauges or probes, pair them and readings flow in automatically — but it's always optional.
Does it work without signal?+
Yes. All calculators and guided diagnostics run offline in the mechanical room. Jobs sync to the cloud once you're back on a connection.
Is it just a calculator?+
No. On top of 15+ field-grade calculators it runs guided step-by-step diagnostics, fault- and flash-code search across 26 brands, install & service guides with check-off lists, tech notes, and job resume/sync across phone and web — plus an AI assistant grounded in brand- and model-specific service data.
Is the AI really unlimited?+
Yes — within fair use. The AI assistant runs on a generous monthly message pool that refreshes each month, with a light weekly pace so it's never burned all at once. Heavy users can top up anytime with credit packs.
What's the difference between Starter and Pro?+
Starter is the full toolkit — every calculator, guided diagnostics, notes, sessions and cross-device sync — without the AI assistant. Pro is everything in Starter plus the unlimited (fair-use) AI assistant. The AI assistant is a Pro-and-up feature.
Can my whole shop use it?+
Yes. Business plans add roles and permissions, a shared credit pool with per-tech limits, and a desktop command center where supervisors review and sign off on jobs — turn on only the parts you want.
Is my data private?+
We don't sell your data, and we don't use your content to train third-party models. See our privacy policy for the details.
Do I need EPA 608 certification?+
Refrigerant work requires it by law. The app surfaces a reminder before refrigerant tools and is built to support — not replace — your certification and judgment.
End the support call.
Put the most advanced HVAC diagnostics in your pocket — and a command center on your shop computer.
