Replace a Zone Control Panel
Replace a zoning panel/board: land each zone thermostat and damper, the transformer, and the changeover / leaving-air (discharge) sensor; set the dip switches (system type, stages, fan, purge/timers); then verify each zone calls the right mode and the bypass/dump damper bleeds excess static when only a small zone is open.

Before you start
- •Confirmed the panel/board is the fault (a zone won't call, dampers won't drive, equipment won't stage, or the leaving-air limit mis-trips) — not a single stat or damper.
- •Replacement panel supports the same number of zones, the equipment type (conventional vs heat pump), and stages; you have its install manual for the dip-switch map.
- •Know the system: HP vs conventional, single/multi-stage, the changeover sensor location, and whether there is a bypass/dump damper or static-relief path.
